Experience in a purchasing/logistics background will be highly advantageous
Microsoft office - intermediate (Excel - intermediate level)

JOB TASKS / KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Execute monthly purchasing plan
Prioritise Purchasing plan changes
Administer item cards completely - to sign off point
Manage outsource accounts: Placing of orders, Payment, arrange shipping, importing and clearing of shipment, discharging of shipment, credits & discounts where required
Assist with stock takes
Costing : suggest prices from costing spreadsheets and forward for approval; once approved enter the price and cost on item card
Implementing pricing structures and assist in annual increases
Manage & effect necessary changes on Daily Report
Departmental administration - including filing
