Online Marketing Coordinator
Introduction
An exclusive home goods company is seeking to employ an energetic and dynamic Online Marketing Coordinator with 2 to 4 years’ experience in an online marketing coordinator role.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for updating and maintaining the Company website, the Sales portal, to
manage and maintain the e-commerce platforms and act as the liaison between suppliers and the Company.
Requirements
Minimum education (essential):
• National senior certificate (Matric)
Minimum education (desirable):
• Digital Marketing qualification or similar
Minimum applicable experience (years):
• 2 to 4 years in a similar role
Required nature of experience:
• Digital Marketing experience
• Internet and Web Management experience
• Working in a sales environment
• Working with Suppliers
• Exposure to Service Level Agreements
Skills and Knowledge (essential):
• Full Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate Level
• Supplier management
• Exposure to online e-commerce platforms

Key Performance Areas and Objectives:
Monitor and maintain the Company Website
• Load and update all the content related to the full product suite (new and existing) as and when required.
• Monitor the website regularly and ensure that all images and changes that were uploaded display correctly.
• Load and update all product “offers” as and when required.
• Create, load, and update weekly blogs and recipes
• Test the website daily to ensure that all the content display correctly and report faults or irregularities to the supplier.
• Assist Sales Consultants, Independent Sales Agents, and other departments with any sales portal queries and ensure that the query is resolved.
• Ensure that the online sales portal is updated with pricing, pictures, products, training
modules etc. as and when required.
Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms
• Receive monthly plans, solutions, and strategies from the manager and ensure that they are implemented on online platforms.
• Monitor relevant platforms daily and apply for promotions and deals with online resellers as and when required.
• Keep track of all promotions and deals applied for on online platforms and liaise with other departments to ensure enough stock on hand is available.
• Ensure that all product information (Prices, descriptions, pictures) is always up to date on the online platforms.
• Ensure that all new products are loaded on online platforms when received from the manager.
• Adjust product pricing accordingly and communicate the changes to relevant stakeholders (internal & external) as and when required.
• Analyse daily sale items and ensure that only relevant products and stock are for sale on online platforms.
• Analyse stock on hand levels on online platforms and ensure that enough stock is available for online sales.
• Identify potential challenges and changes relating to the online resellers and ensure that they are communicated timeously to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that the Company adheres to the Service Level Agreement requirements of online platforms.
• Ensure that the Company is up to date with any new requirements or changes required to sell products online.
• Investigate and enquire about any irregular fees charged by the online platform and
escalate accordingly.
• Conduct research on different online platforms relating to products and pricing and provide feedback to the sales and marketing department.
• Identify potential challenges, and opportunities and provide possible solutions.
• Extract data from online platforms, prepare monthly reports, and send them to the manager.
Liaise with suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the suppliers.
• Liaise with various suppliers and drive Service Level Agreements, projects, and progress.
• Ensure that Suppliers meet deadlines and report delays.
• Provide monthly feedback and reports to the Sales & Marketing Director.
• Provide weekly feedback on projects and progress.
Sales and marketing administration
• Assist with the review, planning, and implementation of strategies for new online sales and marketing tools.
• Assist with the planning and organising of Consultant Meetings.
• Take minutes of meetings as and when required.
• Conduct research on different online platforms relating to marketing and sales strategies, identify opportunities and provide monthly feedback to the team.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends.
