Task Description
Executive Protection Agency is looking to employ three Close Protection Agents in its permanent force to be rotated to different clients from time to time. The initial task will be for one-month based in Sandton.
The chosen candidate will be subject to a full background check and polygraph test.
The agent will be working closely with the client and will have a driver assigned to him. The agent will make use of the client's vehicle while on duty and must have his or her own transport and laptop to provide reports.
Executive Protection Agency will from time to time provide the CPO with intelligence reports to assist with daily planning.
The Agent will be working 22-25 12hour shifts per month.
Our client has interests in the mining industry and this will mainly be a corporate task with additional travels to outlying areas and when needed accommodation will be provided.
Duties
Purpose:
This breakdown represents the abilities and normal duties of a CPO. This will be included in a standard service level agreement.
Planning daily activities and security measures for the client(s):

Monitoring the environment where the client is located:
Providing protection and evacuation opportunities to the principal:
Daily Tasks;
o Reviewing the client’s daily agenda.
o Carrying out and reviewing background checks of the people interacting with the client.
o Going over security measures and contingency plans.
o Planning evacuation Routes
o Inspecting vehicles for possible bugging or explosive devices.
o Escorting clients to their vehicle.
o Driving clients to their destinations taking pre-established routes and escape routes when necessary.
o Monitoring all client activities.
o Staying alert for suspicious activities and possible threats.
o Reporting all client activities and incidents.
