Job Description

Our client in the Isithebe area is recruiting for a Human Resources Assistant, who responsible for the human resources administration for the company. The functional components include but not limited to recruitment, training and development, employee relations.

To ensure HR initiatives are adhered to.

To be the custodian to HR operations and be impartial.

To ensure policies and procedures (rules) are adhered to.

Ensure all legal compliance within HR process, practices and policies are in place.

Ensure HR programme and projects are delivered on time and to achieve the intended outcomes.

Co-ordinate all training and development interventions, update all training reports and registers.

Conduct induction and orientation programme ito policies and procedures to employees from time to time.

Give guidance to employees in personal difficult situations.

Co-Ordinate monthly payroll administration.

Assist from time to time on collating information for reporting.

Ensure labour staff grievances and requests are attended to and report to HR manager on major issues

Monitoring absenteeism on the production floor.

Ensure clock card procedures are adhered to correctly.

Ensure time sheets are signed off for payroll and assist

Liaise with unions from time to time

Ensure monitoring of new recruitments. Assist department with obtaining employee from Workforce with the relevant employee requisitions

Arrange all disciplinary proceedings or documents and report same to HR Manager also arrange disciplinary with Workforce

Ensure reporting to HR Manager and Factory Manager on proposal for short time. Liaise with all employees or departments should there be short time.

Ensure company is in complete compliance as per the act. Inform company H&S Officer and HR Manager of non- compliance.

Min. 3 year National Diploma or similar

Matric

Min. 3-5 years human resources experience

Computer literate. i.e Excel / Microsoft/ Power point/VIP

Understand and know all legislative compliances and requirements

Know how to read, write and speak. English and Zulu

Excellent sense of understanding and impartial person

Attention to detail – deadline driven

Assist company as an interpreter (written and verbal)

Must be prepared to work overtime if and when required.
