Job Description
One of South Africa's leading and cutting edge printing companies ahs an opportunity for a Business Development Consultant based in Cape Town.
Responsibilities
- Increase and market the business and its products to new clients
- Exceed and achieve budgets set out for you by the business
- Scope for potential new business with existing clients
- Understand and comply with the business sales plan
- Contribute to sales meetings and reports
- Develop business plans
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing key clients
- Handle any client complaints or problems and provide a solution
- Keep on track with trends and competitors
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years within a sales environment bringing in new business
- Relevant degree or qualification advantageous
- Knowledge of instore-marketing and POS (eg. carry boxes; counter units; wobblers; aisle banners; Litho print solutions etc.)
- Understanding of the FMCG/retail market and its consumers
- Hunter personality who can build relationships
- Knowledge of the sales cycle
- Creative brand knowledge
