  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Content / Digital Marketing Degree or related qualification
  • MS Office (Word, Excel and Email) is essential
  • Opera experience is advantageous
  • Must have a valid South African I.D

Work experience:

  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in the same or similar position
  • Familiar with all duties and procedures within the hotel online Sales platform

  • A passion for dealing with clients directly and offering excellent and professional service
  • Willingness to lead, take charge and offer direction
  • Ability to multitask
  • Exceptional customer care and service delivery
  • Problem solving abilities and ability to manage customer issues and team
  • Ability to understand hotel trade and experience in working with OTA and bedbanks 
  • Willing to travel 

Duties and Responsibility: 

Candidate will be responsible for all content on OTA and bed banks, they will mainly focus on competitor analysis in terms of visual front-end display and optimising listings through:

  • Liaising with our creative agency to enhance photos, including tagging
  • Optimizing property main content and room descriptions
  • Room type titles (customizing where possible to match brand or apply for customization for specialized products, ie Adventure Pads, Family Suites, etc)
  • Selecting correct facility/room amenity ‘tick’ lists to match product and be factually correct
  • Where possible, managing any important Fine Print information, direction, area information, etc
  • Maintain a 100% Property Page Score
