Plan, co-ordinate and lead audits / reviews as well as overseeing the work done by co-employees to perform the audit / reviews fully and according to criteria.
SOQM management would be beneficial. Drafting and quality review of IFRS compliant Annual Financial Statements.
Ideal candidate must be able to communicate with various clients with confidence and from time-to-time meet with clients and handle all queries.
Time management and planning is essential as well as managing personnel.
Prospective manager should have the following background.
- Strong knowledge of Caseware accounting, Xero and Sage online.
- Knowledge of excel and other Microsoft programmes.
- Comm degree in accounting.
- CTA of equivalent qualification.
- Strong driven.
- Effective planning and time management.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Sound knowledge of Caseware, ISA and IFRS is a prerequisite.
- Three years post article experience as an audit manager in audit environment.
- Registered with a board of registered accountants, i.e. SAICA / IRBA or SAIPA. (Preference will be given to a SAICA qualified CA.)
Well-spoken in Afrikaans (as this is most of the client base) and English
