Financial Controller Claremont Cape Town
Our client in retail import/export FMCG is looking for a Financial Controller with 5 years plus experience in financial controlling and accounting. Must be very proficient in SAGE Accpacc and advanced Excel. BE able to manage 4 staff members and financial controls. Need solid experience in Cost & Management Accounting.

Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification in Financial/Finance and Accounting
Minimum of 5 years experience in financial controller/ financial accounting (essential)
Minimum of 5 years experience working in the Retail industry
Knowledge of foreign exchange controls and transactions
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
Sound knowledge of Sage 300 (AccPac)
Full Cost & Management Accounting experience
Responsibilities:
Full recons, control and management of all accounts
Banking reconciling of multiple bank accounts daily
Overseeing all cash flow daily with payments/receipts
Controlling payments on the bank, capturing interest, and balancing any bank loans
Controlling of all Foreign exchange payments/release receipts
Reconcile and manage and balancing the petty cash at month-end
Overseeing all Creditors and Debtors
Overseeing Cashbook/Journals and all expenses
Financial Reporting and Control
Overseeing all stock control, variances, and control
Balancing inter-company loans and processing of interest on accounts
Overseeing all day end and month end processing
Asset Management Register and CAPEX
Reports - Run Financial Reports every month and check for variances
Present accounts bi-monthly at the Board Meetings
General Ledger reconciliations, clearing accounts, sales vs cost of sales
Annual audits on all company accounts
Maintain tax compliance status at all times and assist with audits efficiently
