Duties & Responsibilities:
*Management of employee data
* Ensuring the accuracy of timesheets (T&A)
* Ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time
* Coordinating efforts between the payroll department and other departments such as the human resources and finance department in order to ensure accurate data
* Maintaining employees records, including the correct entry of changes in employee status
* Ensuring maximum compliance with legislation, acts and regulations
* Ensuring prompt update of all software for accurate payroll processing and administration
* Ensuring the updating of all organizations payroll processing and administration
* Updating reports, salary sheets and schedules
* Completing and additional tasks as assigned by the organization
Academic Qualifications:
* National Senior Certificate
* Human Resource Degree / Diploma or Equivalent
* Sage 300 People Certification (Payroll Basic 1 & 2, Leave Management, Personal Management, Employment Equity)
Experience & Requirements:
* At least 3 years extensive experience in Payroll Administration
* Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel. Access and other applications such as Sage software)
* Sage 300 people system
* Advance Excel Vlookup and Pivot tables
* Payroll Management : Salaries & Benefits
* Leave Management / People Leave Module
* People Payroll Reconciliation
* In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation
* Valid Drivers License & own Transport
