A Global Pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Cashbook Clerk - 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury functions - making sure there is enough funds in the disbursement account
Transferring of funds from one account to another
Processing cashbook entries and allocation of payments
Intercompany payments and Foreign payments
Loading payments on the bank
Making HR related payments (Salaries, Medical aid, Provident fund, Funeral Cover)
Control of Local and foreign Petty cash and Reconciliation
Preparing VAT Reconciliation and submission of VAT201 returns
Payroll Reconciliations and submission of EMP201
Reconciliations of General ledger and Balance sheet
Banking and Bank reconciliation x5 recons
Preparing cash flow report for the Management
AP and AR Internal Auditing and working closely with auditors during audit period
Expense Management and Safe keeping (cell phones, cash and car keys)
Preparing and posting Journals on SAP
Contact banks for further investigations on failed payments
Sending proof of payments for the suppliers
Assist Sales team with cell phone connections and upgrades
Manage the vehicles that are company owed and Assets insurance
Manage Fleet fuel and Fleet card maintenance
Screening of new Vendors and opening new accounts
